A civic-tech polling organisation · launching in Vermont
Right when nobody else asked.
AskedHere is the polling organisation for the questions nobody else is asking. We measure public opinion on high-stakes local decisions other outlets ignore — rigorously, transparently, and with our methodology open to scrutiny.
We asked here. So you know.
What makes AskedHere different.
The questions nobody else asks
National pollsters built for national audiences skip school-board fights, ballot measures, zoning controversies, and the local decisions that actually shape your community. We don't.
Methodology you can audit
Every published result includes the sample frame, verification tier, weighting approach, margin of error, and downloadable cross-tabs. If you find a flaw, we want to know.
Right, even when right is unpopular
Accuracy is the only audience we serve. We publish what the data says — including findings that nobody wanted to hear, and including our own misses, scored on a public track record.
What we are not.
- A clickbait pollster chasing virality.
- A controversy amplifier.
- An advocacy organisation or partisan instrument.
- A panel that sells your data to the highest bidder.
When AskedHere asks a question, the answer comes back grounded in verified residents, transparent methodology, and a published commitment to be wrong in public when we’re wrong.
First territory
Starting in Vermont.
Vermont has the civic engagement, the local-news ecosystem, and the scale where one rigorously polled question can change a school district’s decision, a town’s ballot measure, or a statewide conversation. We’re publishing our first slate of polls this year. Subscribe and you’ll be the first to see what Vermonters actually think — about the decisions being made on their behalf.
